I was newly diagnosed with sleep apnea so I had purchased one travel and one home CPAP machine. The travel machine came with a ResMed nasal mask and my home machine came with a Philips Respironics DreamWear Full Face Mask. Since we were going to be traveling for over a month, I used the travel machine first and had very minimal issues adjusting to the nasal mask. When I got home, what a disaster using the full face mask. They say it’s “the most comfortable mask available” but have no idea how that’s possible even after trying to adjust it different ways. Also, with the full face mask, once you put it on, you can’t talk which is super annoying. After struggling with it for over a week, I decided to order this nasal mask for my home machine and sure enough, I had no issues using it and it is so much more comfortable. Two drawbacks, from my experience: 1) the nasal cushions stretch out a bit and need to be replaced sooner than I would prefer 2) my travel nasal mask was not adaptable to my home machine, thus why I had to purchase another nasal mask. Other than that, this mask is perfect for me.

The AirFit N30 feels more natural! Comfortable and works for me! It is so much easier to put on and take off. I didn’t think a (mask) could feel so easy. It is more like me just breathing than the other mask I had. That felt like I was choking on air. This is smooth and feels like it is working with me. Not forcing me to breathe.
